F\u00fcr die Jagdweise der Tiere haben die gro\u00dfen Schalltrichterohren Bedeutung. Da Rufe dieser Fledermausart sehr leise sind, ben\u00f6tigen sie gute Ohren, mit denen die Echos des \u201eFl\u00fcstersonars\u201c aufgefangen werden k\u00f6nnen.
