W\u00e4hrend die Ohren kurz wirken, sind die borstenbehaarten F\u00fc\u00dfe dagegen relativ gro\u00df. An lauen Sommerabenden l\u00e4sst sich diese Fledermausart gut beobachten. Sie gleitet \u00fcber das Wasser von Seen, Fl\u00fcssen und Teichen und verzehrt ihre Beute im Flug. Die Wasserfledermaus muss landen, wenn sie gr\u00f6\u00dfere Beutetiere, wie z. B.
